Who are we?
The “marketing” buzz is that ZDN is built by passionate cybersecurity enthusiasts, experts, and evangelists who care about others’ online safety. We’ve seen the actual impact of cyberattacks, especially on those who are underprepared, and we want to empower you to defend yourself. Regardless of whether you’re already doing this professionally, out holiday or birthday shopping, at work, or simply browsing the internet & social media.
Now, the narrative (fun part) – I started the idea of ZDN in January of 2023 with a piece of paper and a few terrible brainstorming sessions. Later in the year, circa September, I began taking a more formal approach to officially adopting this as a business model, not just a passion. Fast forward to 2024 and it’s more official than I ever thought a piece of paper would be.
Realistically I started ZDN with the goal of telling someone about cybersecurity. I’ve known for years that I love to talk, and I love to help people, so why not make the best out of it. After a while of working in cybersecurity (and admittedly finding numerous things I wanted to scream from the rooftops), I needed a proper outlet. As this grew, coupled with a few recurring requests for cyber & IT service support, I decided to formalize a few service offerings. Now, here we are – a one man army hoping to at least make a tiny difference where I can.
